All four seasons in Vermont attract outdoor people for many different kinds of excitement. Vermont has primitive and private camping. The Long Trail and Appalachian Trail, wild and scenic, explore day hikes, and overnights with leantos and cabins. Driving around, our old covered bridges will also bring you to fine trout runs. There are four Lake Champlain ferries to enjoy crossing over to New York. You will agree when people say "Water Works Wonders". Cold crisp air, high spraying waves with Adirondack Mountian views speak for themselves. Bass pros and tournament fishermen say our sixth great lake is the best fishery on the east coast. Vermont scenic travel routes are favorite bicycle tours. Trap and skeet ranges are open all season to hone your hunting skills. Our nothern outdoors is yours to enjoy.

SUMMER SIGHTS
Wild Rivers Outfitting can ride you down four awesome rivers that flow into Northern Lake Champlain. These rivers are wild and scenic. You will view a fantastic shoreline, various birds and many different species of wildlife. Bring your cameras, binoculars and camcorders to capture a moment in time. 

We offer custom camping trips on Northern Lake Champlain to suit your desires. We can shuttle you and your gear to Woods Island, Burton Island or Knights Island for a day, overnight or weekend camping trip.  We can also help set up your camp, stay overnight, and take you fishing on our local waters. We watch the weather, the water and the fish. Our 18’ Lund Alaskan guide boat accommodates 6 passengers and gear.  

WINTER WONDERS
Lake Champlain winters boast 2-3 feet of ice for excellent, yet safe fishing for northern pike, yellow perch, walleye, lake trout and salmon.  We offer overnight ice fishing outings, along with cross country skiing, showshoeing and ice skating.
