FOLIAGE RIVER TOURS
Fall foliage river tours are a specialty for viewing lots of waterfowl including teal, widgeon, pintail blacks, mallards, canadian and snow geese. Our favorite tour is on the Missisquoi river in the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge encompasses 6,600 acres providing prime habitat for migratory waterfowl and many other wildlife species including raccoon, deer, otter, fisher, muskrat, beaver mink, etc. This refuge boasts Vermont's second largest heron rookery in the Champlain basin.

Cutting a wake up the Missisquoi river covered with red maple leaves at peak foliage, while looking out for many species of native wildlife is a true feeling of freedom. This wild river will put you back in time with fond remembrances you will want to repeat.
